fareping is an invite-only service, operated by Russ Page, that texts you cheap-flight deals from your home airport. This policy covers what we collect and how we use it. In this policy, "fareping", "we", and "us" mean Russ Page.

What we collect

Your phone number when you sign up through an invite link, plus anything you tell us during signup or by text: your name (optional), home airport, travel style, and wishlist destinations.

How we use it

We use it only to run fareping: verifying your number, sending flight deal alerts by SMS, asking a short set of onboarding questions, and honoring opt-outs.

Mobile numbers

No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. We do not sell, rent, or share your mobile number, and text messaging originator opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties.

Message frequency and rates

Message frequency varies. We text you when a deal matches your wishlist, plus a few onboarding messages when you first join. Message and data rates may apply.

Service providers

We use vendors that process data only to operate the service for us: Twilio for SMS delivery, Supabase for storage, and Railway for hosting.

Your choices

Reply STOP to any message to end all texts. Reply HELP for help or to ask us to delete your information.
